Disney cruises give families many ways to play together, and separately. With practically an entire deck devoted to kids, there's non-stop fun each day from 9am to midnight for five distinct age groups. Kids ages 3 to 7 make magic at Disney's Oceaneer Club. Kids ages 8 to 12 explore the universe at Disney's Oceaneer Lab. Teens enjoy their own private hangout at The Stack or Aloft.

Disney's Oceaneer Club (ages 3-7) & Disney's Oceaneer Lab (ages 8-12)

Only Disney can take little cruisers on a daily voyage to a world devoted to fun and fantasy. Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab offer age-specific activities guaranteed to transport young minds to the edge of their imagination, guided along the way by Disney counselors, of course. Parents sign their children in and out and, as an added convenience, parents are given pagers so families are always in touch. A sampling of activities on Disney family cruises follows.

Disney's Oceaneer Club Activities:

Ages 3-4

Aloha Luau: Cast off Hawaiian style! Make new friends the first night of your cruise at this tropical themed party with dancing, arts and crafts, and much more.

Do-Si-Do with Snow White: Kick up your heels and dance! It's non-stop fun while you learn the "Dance of the Seven Dwarfs," and then perform with a special guest.

Mouseketeers in Training: Put on your mouse ears, it's time for Mouseketeer training. Receive a special inspection from Mickey Mouse himself.

Ages 5-7

Detective School: Train to be a junior detective and then put your new sleuthing skills to the test when you solve a mystery - Disney style!

Flubber: Join Professor Goo to create a squishy green substance that looks like "Flubber!" Take home a sample of your creation.

Sebastian's Junkanoo Jam: Get your mini-groove on! The dance floor awaits eager youngsters who enjoy singing and moving to great tunes.

Disney's Oceaneer Lab Activities Include:

Ages 8-9

Animation: Unlock the secrets of Disney animation as you learn to draw "the mouse that started it all" using classic animation tools and techniques.

Camp Out: Go camping in the Great Outdoors - on board the ship! Pitch a tent, and then gather 'round for 75 minutes of singing, storytelling and games!

Disney's Kim Possible Cruise Control: Join forces with Kim, Ron and Wade to foil Dr. Drakken's evil plan to return the ship to Port Canaveral and turn Castaway Cay into "Evil Island."

Ages 10-12

Boyz & Girlz Chill: Take a break from the action and chill out while you enjoy getting to know new friends and planning which awesome activity to do next.

Disney Game Show: Lights, camera, action! Join us on stage for this amazingly fun test of your Disney knowledge.

Hangin' in Aloft/The Stack: Watch a movie, meet new friends or check out the coolest video games in the hottest spot to chill out.

Teen Activities:

The Stack/Aloft: Meet on your own terms in this personal space. Teens (ages 13-17) cruise in style in this place packed with music, movies, video games, big-screen plasma TVs, a lounge area, dance floor, Internet café and teen-only activities into the wee hours. And the counselors are always cool. Are you a teen? Then you can make this vacation what you want it to be - at the Stack.

411: Break the ice in a laid-back atmosphere. Get to know each other in this game where you learn about your fellow passengers.

Glow Jam: Receive your very own glow bracelet and join us for a glow-in-the-dark good time with games, fun and dancing.

H20 Splashdown: Dive into this exclusive teen pool party! Take part in poolside games, rock out to jammin' music and earn tribal points that are up for grabs.

Karaoke: Find your innerrock star when you take the stage, grab a microphone and sing along with your favorite tunes.

Flounder's Reef Nursery

Babysitting Disney-style is a delight for children 12 weeks to 36 months in this "under the sea" soft play area with illustrations of Flounder, Scuttle and Sebastian from "The Little Mermaid." Kids can sleep in the "quiet room" or play in the "activity room" under the watchful eyes of trained Disney caregivers. And parents are given pagers so that they can always be in touch. Be sure to book your child's nursery stay EARLY because space is extremely limited. You can make a reservation online or during open house on Embarkation Day on a first-come, first-served basis. To check additional availability, visit Flounder's Reef Nursery during your cruise. There is a fee of $6 per child per hour, and $5 per additional child per hour, 2-hour minimum required. The facility is open daily. Rates and times are subject to change and services are subject to availability. Please note: For the safety and enjoyment of all, Disney's operation has been designed for children to participate in age-appropriate groups, which allows them to interact both socially and comfortably with peers of their own age and size.
